Martin O’Brien

Martin O’Brien has been active as an independent fish processor in the Newfoundland and Labrador inshore fishery since 1962 and is President and CEO of Tors Cove Fisheries Limited trading in markets in the United States, Europe, Japan and Taiwan.  He is a shareholder in Newfound Resources Limited which is active in the Newfoundland and Labrador offshore shrimp fishery.  He was elected to the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador in 1975.  He was a member of the Board of Directors of Vinland Petroleum Inc. and is a member of the Board of Directors of Deer Lake Oil & Gas, Incorporated.
